Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution dated07 October 2020which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 253021 (Reggie B. Magbanua v. Magsaysay Maritime Corporation, and/or Masterbulk Ship Management Pte. Ltd., and/or Arnold B. Javier). — After a careful review of the case, the Court finds the Petition for Review on Certiorari to be lacking in merit. The Court finds no reversible error on the part of the Court of Appeals when it affirmed the Decision dated 28 February 2018 of the Panel of Voluntary Arbitrators of the National Conciliation and Mediation Board, dismissing petitioner Reggie B. Magbanua's complaint for permanent and total disability benefits against private respondents Magsaysay Maritime Corporation, and/or Masterbulk Ship Management Pte. Ltd., and/or Arnold B. Javier.
WHEREFORE, the Court resolves to DENY the instant petition. The Decision 1 dated 29 January 2020 and the Resolution 2 dated 28 July 2020 of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. SP No. 159700 are hereby AFFIRMED.
