Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution datedOctober 17, 2018, which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 11982 (Antonio Lim Hing v. The Law Firm of Hechanova Bugay Vilchez and Andaya-Racaido, Atty. Maria Gladys C. Vilchez and Atty. Gino Marco P. Bautista.). — For resolution is a Complaint-Affidavit dated September 30, 2016 filed by complainant Antonio Lim Hing against the law firm of Hechanova Bugay Vilchez and Andaya-Racaido, Atty. Maria Gladys C. Vilchez, and Atty. Gino Marco P. Bautista, before the Commission on Bar Discipline (CBD) of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), for alleged unethical actions, docketed as CBD Case No. 16-5140, now A.C. No. 11982.
In his Memorandum dated February 8, 2017, Investigating Commissioner Atty. Leo B. Malagar, IBP Assistant Director for Bar Discipline, recommended the dismissal of the complaint for lack of merit. In Resolution No. XXII-2017-1221, dated June 17, 2017, the Board of Governors of the IBP adopted the recommendation of the IBP Assistant Director for Bar Discipline.
Finding the recommendation of the IBP to be fully supported by the evidence on record and applicable laws, the Court RESOLVES to DISMISS the case against Atty. Maria Gladys C. Vilchez and Atty. Gino Marco P. Bautista, and consider the same as CLOSED and TERMINATED. cDHAES
