Sirs/Mesdames :

Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution datedAugust 3, 2022 which reads as follows:

"JIB FPI No. 21-003-CA-J (Fernando D. Geronimo, complainant v. Associate Justice Myra V. Garcia-Fernandez, Court of Appeals, Manila, respondent). — The Court NOTES (1) the unverified letter-complaint dated September 6, 2020 of Mr. Fernando G. Geronimo against Hon. Apolinario D. Bruselas, Jr., Hon. Myra V. Garcia-Fernandez, and Hon. Geraldine C. Fiel-Macaraig, all Associate Justices of the Court of Appeals, Manila for undue delay in rendering a decision, gross ignorance of the law and gross negligence relative to CA-G.R. CR No. 36629 entitled, "People of the Philippines vs. Fernando Del Rosario Geronimo"; and (2) comment dated July 22, 2021 of respondent Justice Garcia-Fernandez.

Acting on the Report 1 dated May 25, 2022 of the Judicial Integrity Board (JIB), the Court resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of the JIB in the attached Report dated May 25, 2022. The complaint against Associate Justice Myra V. Garcia-Fernandez of the Court of Appeals, Manila is DISMISSED for utter lack of merit.
