NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court en banc issued a Resolution dated JANUARY 31, 2012, which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 199612 (Renato M. Federico vs. Commission on Elections, et al.). — The Court Resolved to: CEASaT
(a) NOTE the Third Urgent Motion to Resolve Application for Preliminary Injunction and/or Temporary Restraining Order dated January 19, 2012 filed by counsel for petitioner;
(b) NOTE and GRANT the Motion to Suspend dated January 25, 2012 filed by the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG), praying that respondent (should be petitioner) be directed to furnish it with a copy of the petition, with legible copies of annexes, if any, and in the meantime, the period for filing the required comment be suspended, the same to commence anew upon receipt of said petition;
(c) REQUIRE the petitioner to FURNISH the OSG with a legible copy of the petition and its annexes, if any, within five (5) days from notice hereof; TACEDI
(d) NOTE the Comment dated January 24, 2012 filed by counsel for private respondent in compliance with the resolution of January 17, 2012; and
(e) DENY the Motion to Lift Temporary Restraining Order filed by aforesaid counsel for private respondent." Abad and Sereno, JJ., on leave. (119)
