NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, First Division, issued a Resolution dated March 27, 2019 which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 9501 [Formerly CBD Case No. 16-4940] (Movena Cu vs. Atty. Pepito C. Presquito)
After careful review of the records of this case, We adopt the report and recommendation of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Board of Governors to reprimand respondent Atty. Pepito C. Presquito for his drunken behavior and impose a Fine of P5,000.00 for not filing his position paper.
WHEREFORE, respondent Atty. Pepito C. Presquito is hereby REPRIMANDED for his drunken behavior in violation of Rule 7.03 of the Code of Professional Responsibility — which proscribes any conduct that adversely reflects on a lawyer's fitness to practice law — and fined P5,000.00 for his failure to file his Position Paper before the Commissioner of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. He is further warned that a repetition of the same or similar act shall be dealt with more severely.
