Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution dated19 June 2019which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 243181 — RONALDO CANDELARIA, JR. y MANALANSAN, petitioner, versus PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES, respondent.
After reviewing the Petition and its annexes, inclusive of the Decision 1 of the Court of Appeals (CA) dated January 31, 2018 and Resolution 2 dated November 5, 2018 in CA-G.R. CR No. 39237, the Court resolves to DENY the Petition for failure of the petitioner to sufficiently show that the CA committed any reversible error in the assailed Decision and Resolution as to warrant the exercise of this Court's discretionary appellate jurisdiction.
The Court finds that the petitioner failed to show any cogent reason for the reversal of the Judgment of Branch 31, Regional Trial Court, San Pedro, Laguna and the CA Decision, which have passed upon the same issues. Petitioner failed to show that their factual findings are not supported by evidence or that their decisions are contrary to applicable law and jurisprudence. There being no reversible error on the part of the CA, the Petition is hereby denied. HTcADC
