Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution dated 01 April 2019 which reads as follows:
"G.R. No. 222124 (Bank of the Philippine Islands v. Orient Gold Crest Corporation, Antonio Datuin, Spouses Simeon Yu Sek Beng, Erlinda Ang, Evelyn Yu, and the Register of Deeds of Valenzuela City)
After a judicious study of the case, the Court resolves to DISMISS the instant 1 petition for having been rendered moot and academic by the June 1, 2017 Decision 2 of the Regional Trial Court of Valenzuela City, Branch 75 (RTC) in Civil Case No. 5208-V-97, which decided the case on the merits and based on available records. Accordingly, the Court no longer finds it necessary to rule on whether the RTC committed grave abuse of discretion when it denied petitioner's motions for reconsideration to allow it to present its evidence and deemed the case submitted for decision.
