NOTICE

Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution datedJuly 27, 2022which reads as follows: HTcADC
"A.C. No. 13235 (Vincent Luis W. Arias v. Atty. Maria Aurora P. Sore-Romano). — The Notice of Resolution No. CBD-XXV-2021-08-07 1 dated August 14, 2021 in CBD Case No. 18-5619 of the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) and the letter dated November 9, 2021 of the IBP Director for Bar Discipline, Avelino V. Sales, Jr., transmitting the documents pertaining to the case 2 are NOTED.
The Court resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of the Deputy Director in the attached Extended Resolution 3 dated September 1, 2021, and the Investigating Commissioner's Report and Recommendation 4 dated June 28, 2019, which the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Board of Governors likewise adopted and approved. The Complaint against Atty. Maria Aurora P. Sore-Romano is DISMISSED.
Nonetheless, Atty. Maria Aurora P. Sore-Romano is ORDERED to return the amount of P30,000.00 earlier paid by the complainant Vincent Luis W. Arias as part of the acceptance fee agreed upon by the parties.
