After considering the allegations, issues, and arguments adduced in the Petition for Review on Certiorari1 assailing the Court of Appeals' January 29, 2015 Decision 2 and July 29, 2015 Resolution 3 in CA-G.R. SP No. 133495, this court resolves to DENY the Petition for failure to show any reversible error in the assailed Decision and Resolution as to warrant the exercise of this court's discretionary appellate jurisdiction.
We AFFIRM the Court of Appeals Decision, with MODIFICATION in that the amount of nominal damages awarded is increased to P30,000.00, consistent with recent jurisprudence. 4
