Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution dated February 4, 2019, which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 12058 (Ramon U. Ampil, v. Atty. Moises P. Cating.). — For resolution is a Complaint dated January 22, 2014 filed by complainant Ramon U. Ampil against respondent Atty. Moises P. Cating, before the Commission on Bar Discipline of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), for alleged forum shopping, splitting of causes of action, and filing of baseless suits, docketed as CBD Case No. 14-4107, now A.C. No. 12058.
In his Report and Recommendation dated June 4, 2015, Investigating Commissioner Atty. José Aguila Grapilon recommended the dismissal of the complaint for lack of merit. In Resolution No. XXI-2015-633 dated June 30, 2015, the Board of Governors of the IBP adopted the said Report and Recommendation of the IBP Investigating Commissioner.
Finding the recommendation of the IBP to be fully supported by the evidence on record and applicable laws, the Court RESOLVES to DISMISS the case against Atty. Moises P. Cating and consider the same as CLOSED and TERMINATED.
