Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution dated27 January 2020which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 12676 (Ma. Lourdes S. Adelantar v. Atty. Maria Rosario Uy Galit). — The Court RESOLVES to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendation of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) in its Notice of Resolution 1 dated September 14, 2018. Accordingly, the Court finds respondent Atty. Maria Rosario Uy Galit (respondent) GUILTY of violation of Rule 12.03, Canon 12 of the Code of Professional Responsibility. Accordingly, she is ORDERED to pay a FINE in the amount of P5,000.00, with a STERN WARNING that a repetition of the same or similar infraction will be dealt with more severely. HEITAD
Let copies of this Resolution be furnished to the: (a) Office of the Bar Confidant to be appended to respondent's personal record as an attorney; and (b) IBP for its information and guidance.
