NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution dated 24 January 2018 which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 11408 [Formerly CBD Case No. 08-2286] (A.C. Equities, Inc. v. Atty. Jaime B. Arzadon, Jr.). — For resolution is a Complaint for Disbarment filed by A.C. Equities, Inc. (ACEI) against Atty. Jaime B. Arzadon, Jr., for violation of Canon 10.1 Rule 10.03 of the Code of Professional Responsibility.
In its Resolution No. XX-2012-544 dated December 14, 2012, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) — Board of Governors adopted Commissioner Dennis A.B. Funa's Report and Recommendation and suspended Atty. Arzadon from the practice of law for two (2) months, for violating Rule 10.03, Canon 10 of the Code of Professional Responsibility. Atty. Arzadon filed his motion for reconsideration. In its Resolution No. XX-2013-755 dated June 21, 2013, the Board of Governors, finding merit in the motion, granted Atty. Arzadon's motion for reconsideration and dismissed ACEI's complaint. On June 17, 2016, ACEI filed its Motion for Reconsideration. In a Resolution dated November 14, 2016, this Court referred the instant administrative complaint against Atty. Arzadon to the IBP for evaluation, report and recommendation.
In Resolution No. XXII-2017-1249, dated June 17, 2017, the Board of Governors of the IBP resolved to deny ACEI's motion for reconsideration and dismiss the complaint against Atty. Arzadon.
Finding the recommendation of the IBP to be fully supported by the evidence on record and applicable laws, the Court RESOLVES to DISMISS the case against Atty. Jaime B. Arzadon, Jr. and consider the same as CLOSED and TERMINATED.
