Eduardo Alvarez President S i r s : This is with reference to your letter dated August 25, 1987 reiterating your proposal to assign/transfer to the lessee the input tax credit on the purchase of a lease item. Please be informed that E.O. 273, as amended, does not allow for any transfer of input tax credit from the lessor to the lessee.
