Lim President Severina Realty Corporation S i r : In reply to your request for certification of exemption from VAT dated March 5, 1988, please be informed that your corporation is exempted from VAT pursuant to Sec. 103 (j) and (q) of the Tax Code, as amended by EO 273, however, it is subject to the percentage tax on hotels, motels and others on receipts from room occupancy under Section 113 of the Tax Code. cdt Please be guided accordingly.
