Asuncion S i r s : This refers to your letter dated March 15, 1989 requesting a ruling on the applicability of the value-added tax on your trucking business. In reply, please be informed that for engaging in the trucking services, you are subject to the 3% tax on your gross receipts, pursuant to Section 115 of the Tax Code, as amended by Executive Order No. 273.
