April 4, 1993 VAT RULING NO. 029-93 Section 103 (u) 85-92 029-93 Nissen Denki Phils. Corp. #168 4th St.,Bet. 8th & 9th Ave. Grace Park, Caloocan City Attention: Mr . Erlaster H . Edrial Company Administrator S i r s : This has reference to your letter dated March 22, 1993 stating that Pacific Rare Metal Industries, Inc.,an EPZA-registered firm, is a buyer of your product, particularly the manual transfer switch. Relative to the aforesaid purchase, said corporation presented to you VAT Ruling No. 085-92 extending the VAT exemption to the sellers of supplies, to EPZA-registered firms. In reply, please be informed that based on the foregoing facts, your sale of manual transfer switch to Pacific Rare Metal Industries, Inc. shall be exempt from VAT in accordance with Article 77 (1) of the Omnibus Investments Code of 1987 (E.O.
