VALENZUELA CITY ORDINANCE NO. 459-18 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC. 32, 2.22 (F) AND (G) OF ORDINANCE NO. 92-012 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A REVENUE CODE OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF VALENZUELA BOOK 1 AND SECTION 1, 13/C/ OF ORDINANCE NO. 043, SERIES OF 2006 ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING FEES AND CHARGES FOR SERVICES OR FACILITIES RENDERED BY THE CITY HEALTH OFFICE AND CITY HOSPITAL IN THE CITY OF VALENZUELA" Authored by: Coun. WHEREAS , Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the "Local Government Code of 1991" has empowered each local government unit to create its own sources of revenue and to levy taxes, fees, and charges subject to the provisions of the aforementioned Code and consistent with the basic policy of local autonomy; WHEREAS , there is a need to amend Section 32, 2.22 (F) and (G) of Ordinance No. 92-012 and Section 1, 13/C/ of Ordinance No. 043 Series of 2006. NOW, THEREFORE , be it ordained as it is hereby ordained by the City Council of Valenzuela, in session duly assembled to amend Ordinance 92-012 and Ordinance 043; SECTION 1. Section 32 of Ordinance 92-012 is hereby amended as follows; Civil Registry Fee . (a) The following fees shall be collected for services rendered by the Civil Registry or equivalent office of the municipal government. 2.22 Permit for cadaver disposition: a. Burial Permit 15.00 b. For each duplicate of burial permit 15.00 c. for exhumation of cadaver 15.00 d. for removal of cadaver 15.00 e. for cremation 15.00 f. Entrance from city/town from 20.00 to .00 (nil) g. transfer to other municipality from 40.00 to. 00 (nil) h. cemetery fee: new 500.00 old 300.00 bone chamber 150.00 SECTION 2. Section 1 of Ordinance 043 series of 2006 is hereby amended, to read as follows: Imposition of City Health Office and City Emergency Hospital Service Fees. The following Schedule of Fees is hereby imposed for services or facilities rendered by the City Health Office and City Emergency Hospital: 1. Certifications: 13.) Other permits: a. Burial Permit P100.00 b. Exhumation Permit P200.00 c. Transfer to other City/Municipality (Previously with LCR) from P100.00 to.00 (nil) SECTION 3. Separability Clause . If for any reason, a part of this Ordinance is declared illegal or invalid, other parts or provisions hereof which are not affected thereby shall remain valid and in full force and effect. SECTION 4. Repealing Clause . All previous Ordinances and rules/regulations inconsistent with the provisions hereof are deemed repealed or modified accordingly. SECTION 5. Effectivity Clause . This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon signing. ORDAINED, FURTHER , that copies of this Ordinance shall be furnished the Office of the two (2) Congressional Districts of Valenzuela City, Metropolitan Manila and the Honorable Senators of the Republic of the Philippines.
