TAGAYTAY CITY ORDINANCE NO. 009-10 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE PROPOSED SCHEDULE OF FAIR MARKET VALUE ON REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF TAGAYTAY EXPLANATORY NOTE : WHEREAS , the City Assessor's Office is mandated to undertake a general revision of real property assessment every three (3) years as required under Sec. 219 of RA 7160; WHEREAS , Section 212 of the Local Government Code of 1991 requires the City Assessor to prepare the Schedule of Fair Market Value for the different classes of real property within the territorial jurisdiction of the City; WHEREAS ,the latest Schedule of Fair Market Value on Real Property being implemented was made in CY 2000 and the revision made in CY 2003 and CY 2006 were suspended due to economic and other meritorious consideration; WHEREAS ,presented for consideration is the Proposed Schedule of Fair Market Value of Real Property within the City of Tagaytay to be applied for CY 2011. AFTER DUE DELIBERATION ,upon motion of Hon. Fredlander Bay, seconded unanimously, BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tagaytay that: SECTION 1. Adoption . The proposed Schedule of Fair Market Value for land, buildings and other structures attached hereto as ANNEX "A" as submitted by the City Assessor of this City is hereby adopted and approved. AIDSTE SECTION 2. Effectivity . This ordinance shall take effect on the 1st day of January 2011 after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the City.
