D E C I S I O N Before this Commission is a verified petition praying that after due notice and hearing, judgment be rendered revoking the Certificate of Registration of the Cebu Seamen's Association, Inc. Acting on the petition, an Order was issued on May 6, 1988 directing any person or entity to file his/its written objections thereto with the Commission on or before May 31, 1988. Likewise, petitioner was directed to publish the petition in a newspaper of general circulation at least once a week for three consecutive weeks in the city or municipality where the principal office of the corporation is located. On June 5, 1988, this Hearing Officer heard the petition wherein counsel for the petitioner presented and offered documentary evidence. However, nobody appeared to oppose the petition. After consideration of the evidence on hand, it appears to the satisfaction of this Hearing Officer that petitioner was able to prove the material allegations of the petition. LibLex WHEREFORE, judgment is hereby rendered revoking the certificate of registration of the Cebu Seamen's Association, Inc. pursuant to Section 22 of the Corporation Code of the Philippines.
