[SEC-SICD * CASE NO. 06-98-6005. September 24, 1998.] ROY S. TAN , plaintiff, vs . FIL-ESTATE PROPERTIES, INC. , respondent . D E C I S I O N On September 2, 1998, plaintiff and respondent submitted a Joint Motion To Dismiss, the pertinent part of which is quoted herein as follows: "1. After a careful evaluation of the above-entitled case, both parties have come to the conclusion that the matter arose purely out of a misunderstanding and misappreciation of the facts; 2. The parties have therefore agreed to settle their differences in an amicable friendly manner, and have agreed to jointly move for the dismissal of the instant complaint, and all counter-claims." Finding the reason for the motion to be not contrary to law and the parties having been ably-assisted by their respective counsels, as evidenced by their signatures in the motion, the Joint Motion to Dismiss is hereby GRANTED.
