September 9, 1981 Mr. A. Lewis Burridge President Philippine Association of Multi- national Companies' Regional Headquarters, Inc. (PAMURI) 6th Floor, Salamin Building Salcedo St., Legaspi Village Makati, Metro Manila Dear Sir: This is in connection with your letter dated July 17, 1981 requesting authority for the printing of a certificate for distribution to all multi-national companies registered under P. D. 218 that would explain said decree and the rights and privileges of companies registered and operating under it, allegedly, in order to preclude unauthorized demands by the public and misunderstandings in respect to the obligations of the companies. prcd This office believes that there is no necessity for PAMURI to print separate certificates for the above-mentioned purposes considering that what is sought to be printed could easily be included or embodied in the certificates issued by this Commission to regional or area headquarters of multinational companies. At any rate, we still have to study further the mechanics of printing at the back of the said certificates the rights, privileges and incentives enjoyed by the regional or area headquarters under P. D. 218 and applicable laws. Rest assured that we will communicate with you as soon as we shall have reached at something tangible on the matter. Very truly yours, (SGD.) ROSARIO N. LOPEZ Associate Commissioner
