II Amorsolo St., Legaspi Village Makati, Metro Manila Dear Mr. Publico: With reference to your letter of July 1, 1981, please be informed that the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of the Philippines initiated the formation of a committee that will study the proposed regulations on the leasing activities of financing companies and the SEC is represented in that committee. Rest assured that your participation in that study will be most welcome, since we, in the government sector believe that the industry alone is aware of the complexities and ramifications of the leasing operations.
