A reading of the attached minutes of meeting of the board of directors dated August 12, 1979 discloses that the corporation intends to change its corporate name from NEGROS OCCIDENTAL FOUNDATION, to NEGROS OCCIDENTAL FILIPINO-CHINESE FOUNDATION, INC. llcd Relative thereto, you have hereby advised that in order to legally effect said amendments, the same should be done in accordance with the procedure laid down in Section 18 of the Corporation Law, which is quoted herein below: "Any corporation may be legitimate purposes or purposes amend its Articles of Incorporation ...by the vote or written assent of the stockholders representing at least two-thirds (2/3) of the subscribed capital stock of the corporation." A copy of the articles of incorporation, as amended, duly certified to be correct by the President and Secretary of the corporation and a majority of the board of directors shall be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commissioner who shall attach the same to the Articles of incorporation on file in his office. Likewise, in compliance with SEC requirements, also submit in triplicate an undertaking to change corporate name (form enclosed).
