Ablaza Pacific Rim Innovation And Management Exponents, Inc. 502 Manila Luxury Condominium Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center Pasig City M a d a m : This refers, to your letter dated January 26, 1998 requesting for the recording of the change of your name from Elvira A . Baluyut as reflected in the SEC records of Pacific Rim Innovation and Management Exponents, Inc. to Elvira C. Ablaza in view of the annulment of your marriage to Mr. Carlos P. Baluyut. Please be advised that the portions, in the articles of incorporation stating the names of the incorporators, incorporating directors and the original subscribers cannot be changed or amended for the reason that said portions state an established or accomplished facts, at the time of incorporation, just as the place and date of execution of the articles of incorporation cannot be changed. A stockholder who desires to be recognized under a new name must secure a standing under such name by having the change of name recorded in the stock and transfer book (STB) of the corporation. The registration or recording of any change in the names reflected in the STB is a function that pertains to that of the corporate secretary or transfer agent of the corporation.
