Rodriguez Sr. Blvd. Quezon City Sir : This refers to your letter of 24 October 1979, requesting opinion on whether a corporation which does not provide for the adoption of a business name or style in its articles of incorporation may be allowed to register a business name or style other than its corporate name under Act No. 3883 as amended: Please be advised that under the recent policy of this Commission, a Corporation desiring to adopt a business name or style other than its corporate name is required to state the business name or style in the articles of incorporation of said corporation. cdll Very truly yours, For the Chairman: (SGD.)
