Macaranas : This has reference to your letter dated May 20, 1981 requesting opinion of this Commission relative to the use of Norwich-Eaton Philippines, a business name or style registered with the Bureau of Domestic Trade by Mornor Industries, Ltd., a branch office duly licenses to do business in the Philippines. cdll In connection therewith, kindly address your first and second queries to the Bureau of Domestic Trade because the subject matter treated therein falls within the competent jurisdiction of that office. Regarding your third query, it is sound corporate practice to notify this Commission about the use of the business name and attach thereto the registration certificate issued by the Bureau of Domestic Trade, for the proper guidance and information of all those dealing with said foreign corporation.
