July 16, 2008 NON-TRADITIONAL SECURITIES AND INSTRUMENTS DEPARTMENT IN THE MATTER OF PERMANENT PLANS, INC., registrant. REGISTRATION AND LICENSING OF NEW PARTICIPATING FIXED VALUE LIFE PLANS ORDER On 26 February 2008, a Petition was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for and on behalf of PERMANENT PLANS, INC. for the registration/licensing of New Participating Fixed Value Life Plans called the "Destiny Basic" and "Destiny Advantage" to be applied to the remaining unsold securities covering 29,223 plans worth P490,244,216.90 as of 31 December 2007 registered pursuant to Pre-Need Order No. 374 series of 2006. HIETAc Upon consideration of the petition and the documents attached in support thereto, the Commission rendered effective the petition of the aforesaid securities subject to the prescribed terms and conditions stated in the Permit. Accordingly, a Certificate of Registration and Permit to Offer Securities for Sale worth P500,000,000.00 under Pre-Need Order No. 374 dated 22 December 2006 is hereby amended authorizing the sale of the remaining unsold licensed securities as of 30 June 2008 covering 29,012 fixed value life plans worth P486,684,772.90 to the new Participating Fixed Value Life Plans (Destiny Basic and Destiny Advantage) together with the existing licensed Non-Participating Life Plans . HIAcCD However, the issuance thereof is only permissive and does not, in any manner, constitute a recommendation or endorsement of the securities permitted to be offered for sale to the public. It shall be unlawful to make or cause to be made to any prospective purchaser any representation contrary to the foregoing. Let this Order be published at the expense of the corporation once in a newspaper of general circulation in the Philippines within ten (10) days from its promulgation. The corporation is hereby directed to submit to the Commission an affidavit to this effect within five (5) days from such publication. TEcADS SO ORDERED. EDSA, Mandaluyong City, Philippines.
