January 7, 2008 NON-TRADITIONAL SECURITIES AND INSTRUMENTS DEPARTMENT IN THE MATTER OF MANULIFE FINANCIAL PLANS, INC., registrant REGISTRATION AND LICENSING OF ADDITIONAL PAYMENT TERM OF SEVEN (7) YEARS FOR FIXED VALUE PARTICIPATING EDUCATION PLAN WORTH P17,789,853.00 AND PARTICIPATING PENSION PLAN WORTH P159,026,522.00 N O T I C E Notice is hereby given that on December 13, 2007, a sworn registration statement and other documents were filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for and on behalf of MANULIFE FINANCIAL PLANS, INC. for the registration and licensing of additional payment term of seven (7) years covering 131 fixed value participating education plan called ACHIEVER PLAN worth P17,789,853.00 and 1,168 participating pension plan called PLAN RIGHT worth P159,026,522.00. ECcDAH Details on pricing of the fixed value participating education plan and participating pension plan by mode of payments are available in the actuarial feasibility study on file with SEC.
