2013 SEC NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC ADVISORY ON POSSIBLE DEALINGS WITH CORPORATIONS INVOLVED IN THE "PORK BARREL" SCAM The Securities and Exchange Commission has received reports that certain corporations allegedly amassed valuable real and personal properties by means of funds acquired through the "pork barrel" scam. The reports claim that, based on their capitalizations and financial capacities, these alleged pork barrel- associated corporations could not have possibly expand and gain enormous assets. Therefore, it is hereby ADVISED that, before dealing and entering into any form of agreement with corporations, prospective investors may require said corporations to present updated certificates of good standing issued by this Commission. Further, the public is also NOTIFIED that relevant information may be sought during regular office hours from appropriate operating departments of this Commission concerning corporations, specifically, whether or not the same are included in the watchlist or subject of any pending investigation or case before this Commission.
