December 6, 2021 SEC NOTICE TO : All Corporations under the Supervision of the Securities and Exchange Commission SUBJECT : Cybersecurity Notice In anticipation of the holidays and the expected surge of digital transactions, please be advised that in light of the rise of cyber financial crimes and scams, and the recent reports of ransomware hacking incident/s, the Commission hereby encourages all corporations, and their boards, to strengthen their cybersecurity measures. Corporations are urged to assess their cybersecurity risks and address these with the appropriate cybersecurity measures. Specifically, corporations should ensure that their board and senior management, who have oversight over the risks or threats of a corporation, be made aware of the cyber risks and craft the appropriate policies and measures therefor for the corporation and its stakeholders' cybersecurity.
