Acceptance of Applications for Registration of Stock Corporations by Land Bank

2011 SEC NOTICE Pursuant to Memorandum of Agreement dated July 14, 2011 of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP),selected branches nationwide of LBP now accept applications for registration of stock corporations with subscriptions paid in cash. SEC Green Lane forms of articles of incorporation and by-laws shall be available in LBP for the applications. Upon receipt and processing, LBP shall forward the application to SEC for approval and issuance of the Certificate of Incorporation. LBP shall not accept the following: 1. Those with more than forty percent (40%) foreign equity under the Foreign Investments Act of 1991, as amended; and 2. Those with secondary license issued by SEC ( i.e. ,Lending, Financing Companies, etc.) Verification of proposed name and payment of filing fee can also be done in LBP. For further information, please inquire at the nearest LBP Branch.
