March 21, 2019 SEC NOTICE SUBJECT : SEC-PSE Conference on Building a Sustainable Business Community The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) would like to invite you to the SEC-PSE Conference on Building a Sustainable Business Community in partnership with Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI and Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) on 12 April 2019, Friday, 10:30AM-3:30PM , at Shangri-La at the Fort, 30th Street corner 5th Avenue, Taguig City . With the growing global concern on sustainability development, the objective of this Conference is to encourage Publicly Listed Companies (PLCs) to integrate sustainability in their business practices and increase awareness on Sustainability Reporting, the business case for it and its impact on businesses. In addition, the Conference will be the venue to formally launch the Sustainability Reporting Guidelines recently issued by the SEC. The event is free of charge and participants from PLCs shall be prioritized. Registration shall be on a First Come, First Served basis and limited to two (2) representatives per PLC. After starting his post-MBA career as a research analyst, Rajarshi joined the MSCI Index business in 2009. In a career spanning over 8 years with MSCI he has been in various client facing roles covering multiple geographies like UK, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Singapore and Philippines. He is currently based in Singapore and is responsible for the MSCI Equity Index and Environmental, Social & Governance research business in Singapore and Philippines. MR. EDGARDO TONGSON , World Wide Fund Philippines Mr. Tongson is currently the Chief-of-Party for Sustainable Finance of WWF Philippines, leading the Philippine team as part of a regional initiative to channel financial flows to support country commitments to the Paris agreement and to achieving the SDGs. Previously, he was the Chief-of-Party of the USAID-funded Abuan Watershed Management Project, and Senior Consultant for watershed and water resources for WWF Philippines from 2008 to 2012. He joined WWF-Philippines in 1998 as a Program officer, was appointed Director in 2000, Asst. Vice President for Field Operations in 2001 and became the Vice-President for Programmes in 2003. Before joining WWF, he served as Executive Director for the Haribon Foundation from 1994-1998. He earned his Master of Business Administration Degree in 1992 and Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial various topics from crop models, climate change, disaster risk management, indigenous peoples and conservation financing. Engineering in 1982 from the University of the Philippines Diliman. He has published papers in peer-reviewed journals on various topics from crop models, climate change, disaster risk management, indigenous peoples and conservation financing. ARLYN FAUSTO , ABS-CBN Corporation Concurrent with her role as Head of Corporate Recruitment, Arlyn Fausto is the Head of Sustainability for ABS-CBN Corporation. She began her career in the airline industry and worked her way up to become a Sales and Marketing Executive for United Airlines. After 11 years with the airline she served as Regional Resource Development Manager of East and Southeast Asia for Habitat for Humanity International, a non-profit organization whose mission is to end poverty housing and homelessness. Today, Ms. Fausto is tasked to set up the Sustainability framework, function and road map for the organization. Ms. Fausto was certified as a Sustainability Reporting Specialist by the National Center for Sustainability Reporting where she was also given the opportunity to learn Sustainability best practices in Indonesia and in Asia. DETACa Ms. Fausto earned her degree in BS Tourism, from the University of the Philippines, Asian Institute of Tourism. She is also a certified fundraiser and a master performance/executive coach. DR. ROBERTO F. DE OCAMPO , Global Reporting Initiatives Dr. de Ocampo is the former Secretary of Finance of the Philippines, became the first Filipino to receive the most internationally prestigious award to Finance Ministers, the "Global Finance Minister of the Year" award from Euromoney in 1995. He was Secretary of Finance (1994-1998) during the presidency of Fidel V. Ramos, and was widely recognized as the principal architect of the resurgence of the Philippine economy whose achievement was hailed by the international finance community. Prior to these posts, he also served as Chairman and CEO of the Development Bank of the Philippines and led its rehabilitation such that it was recognized by the prestigious international Banker Magazine during his tenure as one of the "world's soundest banks." He is the past president of the Asian Institute of Management having retired from that position in May 2006 and until recently was a member of the AIM Board of Trustees. At present he is the Chairman of the Philippine Veterans Bank and also Chairman of the Board of Advisers of the RFO Center for Public Finance & Regional Economic Cooperation, which is an ADB Regional Knowledge Hub. JOSE TEODORO K. LIMCAOCO , Ayala Corporation Mr. Limcaoco, 56, Filipino, is currently the Chief Finance Officer, Chief Risk Officer, Chief Sustainability Officer and Finance Group Head of Ayala Corporation. He joined Ayala Corporation as a Managing Director in 1998. Prior to his appointment as CFO in April 2015, he held various responsibilities including President of BPI Family Savings Bank, President of BPI Capital Corporation, Officer-in-Charge for Ayala Life Assurance, Inc. and Ayala Plans, Inc., Trustee and Treasurer of Ayala Foundation, Inc., President of myAyala.com , and CFO of Azalea Technology Investments, Inc. He served as the President of the Chamber of Thrift Banks from 2013-2015. He was named as the ING-Finex CFO of the Year in 2018. He has held prior positions with JP Morgan & Co. and with BZW Asia. He graduated from Stanford University with a BS Mathematical Sciences (Honors Program) in 1984 and from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA (Finance and Investment Management) in 1988. He is a director of Globe Telecom, Inc., Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc., and Bank of the Philippine Islands (elected 20 February 2019). He is an Independent Director of SSI Group, Inc. (formerly Water Capital Works, Inc.), AYC Finance Limited, Bestfull Holdings Limited, and Purefoods International Limited. He is the Vice Chairman of Lagdigan Land Corporation. He is the President of Liontide Holdings, Inc. and of Philwater Holdings Company, Inc. He is a Director of Ayala Hotels, Inc., AC Energy, Inc., Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc., AC Infrastructure Holdings Corporation, Ayala Aviation Corporation, AC Education, Inc., Asiacom Philippines, Inc., AG Counselors Corporation, Michigan Holdings, Inc., AC Industrial Technology Holdings, Inc. (formerly Ayala Automotive Holdings Corporation), A.C.S.T. Business Holdings, Inc., LICA Management, Inc. and Just for Kids, Inc. He is the Treasurer of Ayala Retirement Fund Holdings, Inc. KANNA MIHARA , Macquarie Capital Securities (Japan) Ltd . Kanna has 11 years of experience in commercial and investment banking. Since joining Macquarie in 2013, she has worked on 2 of the first 3 major infrastructure privatisation projects in Japan, Sendai Airport and Aichi Toll Road, as a financial advisor to the winning consortium of each transaction. Her cross border M&A experiences include Gibson Guitar's public takeover of TEAC in 2013, and Sompo Japan's acquisition of Canopius on 2014. Since 2016, she has been heading Private Capital Markets team in Japan where her primary role is to connect Japanese capital to global infrastructure opportunities. aDSIHc Before joining Macquarie, Kanna engaged in commercial lending for non-EU EMEA companies in Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation's EMEA headquarter in London for 5 years. Kanna started her career as a business consultant at BaringPoint (currently PwC) where she worked on various business process optimisation projects for Japanese companies. Kanna holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BSc in Political Science from Waseda University. ANNA GREEN , Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. Anna is the country Chief Executive Officer for ANZ Banking Group in the Philippines. Prior to joining ANZ Philippines, Anna was based in Laos as the Chief Executive Officer where she regularly worked with multi-national clients across ASEAN to structure and facilitate innovative cross-border financing solutions to meet their business needs. Her background and experience in banking, finance and law have enabled her to partner with international development multi-laterals including the United Nations and World Bank on financing and corporate social responsibility initiatives across ASEAN region. Anna formerly headed the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Laos as its president and was a founding member of the Australian ASEAN Chamber of Commerce. Prior to ANZ Bank, Anna practiced international banking and finance law in leading international law firms in both the UK and Australia. Anna is a passionate advocate of diversity in the workplace and corporate social responsibility. CHRISTIAN G. LAURON , SGV & Co. Ian is a Partner in SGV's Financial Services Organization (FSO) Advisory practice. He is the head of the Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) group which focuses on capital planning and management, scenario planning, strategic forecasting, stress testing, governance, regulatory management, Basel II and III, IFRS, enterprise risk management (covering strategic, financial, compliance, and operational areas). He also performs macro-prudential policy reviews for the government and public sector. Ian is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has been awarded as an outstanding CPA in Public Practice. He finished his Master's degree in Business Administration major in Finance with top honors at the Asian Institute of Management.
