September 2, 2021 SEC NOTICE TO : All SEC Certification Examinations Registered Examinees and Applicants SUBJECT : Resumption of SEC Certification Examinations In view of the need to provide critical services to the capital market, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will resume the conduct of SEC Certification Examinations as scheduled starting 08 September 2021, except when the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases elevates the risk classification of the National Capital Region to Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ). Further, additional examination sessions will be allocated for registered examinees whose examination schedules were cancelled during the ECQ and Modified ECQ periods from 06 August 2021 to 07 September 2021. In light of the confirmed presence of COVID-19 Delta Variant in the country and pursuant to DOH Administrative Order No. 2021-0043, dated 31 August 2021, prescribing the Omnibus Guidelines on the Minimum Public Health Standards for the Safe Reopening of Institutions, the SEC updated the Guidelines on the Health and Safety Protocols to be Observed in the Conduct of the SEC Certification Examinations during the COVID-19 Pandemic to provide additional precautionary measures. The Economic Research and Training Department (ERTD) will coordinate through email with the registered examinees to guide them in the implementation of the said Guidelines.
