September 7, 2017 SEC NOTICE NOTICE OF SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT The Commission wishes to announce to the public that Manila Water Company, Inc. (MWCI) has entered into a settlement agreement with the Commission. This release is in compliance with Section 55.3 Settlement Offers Republic Act No. 8799, otherwise known as the Securities Regulation Code (SRC), which states that "any agreement shall have no legal effect until publicly disclosed." The total Settlement Offer amounting to Nine Million Five Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand Pesos (Php9,585,000.00) has been accepted by the Commission in Resolution No. 619, series of 2017. Thus, the case is now deemed settled without any determination of fault or guilt on the part of MWCI. Pasay City, September 7, 2017.
