September 1, 2021 MICROFINANCE NGO REGULATORY COUNCIL TO : Microfinance NGOs, Microfinance NGO Clients, Microfinance Industry Stakeholders and All Interested Parties SUBJECT : Request for Comments on the Exposure Draft of the Revised MNRC Financial Performance Report Card Template NOTICE During its 50th Meeting held on 25 August 2021, the Microfinance NGO Regulatory Council (MNRC or the Council) approved for public exposure the draft and revised MNRC Financial Performance Report Card Template, 1 pursuant to its function of instituting and operationalizing a system of accreditation for microfinance NGOs based on sound and measurable standards of financial performance, social performance, audit and governance. 2 Now, therefore, the Council is inviting microfinance NGOs, their clients, industry stakeholders and all interested parties to submit their written comments on the attached draft of the Revised MNRC Financial Performance Report Card Template to the MNRC Secretariat through email at [emailprotected] no later than 16 September 2021 . Please use the attached Comments Table in submitting comments, proposed revisions, and estimated cost/s to comply. Note that the proposed revisions are in red font and that the following Financial Performance Indicator on Sustainability were redistributed to the other indicators: 1. Financial Self-Sufficiency; 2. Loan Portfolio Profitability; and 3. Return on Equity. For your reference, attached as Annex "A" is the previous MNRC Financial Performance Standards Report Card Template.
