Extension of the Deadline to Submit Revised Anti-Money Laundering Manual for SEC-Covered Institutions

September 23, 2010 SEC MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 08-10 FOR : All SEC Covered Institutions RE : Extension of the Deadline to Submit Revised Anti-Money Laundering Manual for SEC Covered Institutions Pursuant to SEC MemorandumCircular No. 2, Series of 2010 The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued Memorandum Circular No. 2, series of 2010 last 20 May 2010 requiring all covered institutions of the SEC to submit their revised Anti-Money Laundering Manual in accordance with the guidelines prescribed in the said circular. The deadline to submit the revised Anti-Money Laundering Manual was last 8 September 2010. In view of the requests received, and in order to allow SEC-covered institutions ample opportunity to institute appropriate corrections to comply with the guidelines prescribed under Memorandum Circular No. 2, series of 2010, the Commission has approved the extension of the deadline for the submission of the revised Anti-Money Laundering Manual from 8 September 2010 to 8 December 2010.
