September 30, 2022 ECONOMIC RESEARCH AND TRAINING DEPARTMENT TO : All SEC Certification Examination Applicants SUBJECT : SEC Certification Examinations (Paper and Pen) Schedule in Provinces and Application Procedure NOTICE In compliance with public health standards for the mitigation of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the following are the SEC Certification Examinations schedule, and the corresponding application process and payment options. I. Examination Schedule Dates DATE LOCATION APPLICATION PERIOD 25 November 2022 Davao City 30 September-28 October 2022 9 December 2022 Cebu City 30 September-8 November 2022 Time: 1:00 pm The examination venue will be emailed to scheduled examinees. II. Examination Application by Email Applicants will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. The schedules will automatically be closed once all available slots are filled. Only paid applicants will be scheduled for the examination. No same-day walk-in examination. Procedure: 1. Click on the link below to download the appropriate application form. The Application Form must be submitted in a Portable Document Format (PDF) file. 2. If the payment is in manager's check, indicate the company name and address that should reflect in the OR. List of acceptable Philippine-issued identification (ID) cards Philippine Identification (PhilID) NBI Clearance SSS ID Latest Passport UMID Latest Driver's License PRC License Police Clearance PWD ID Solo Parent ID COMELEC Voter's ID CSC Eligibility Card BIR/Taxpayer's ID Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card PhilHealth ID Company/Office ID Postal ID Latest School ID Barangay ID It is advisable to submit the application requirements as early as possible as there are instances that the examination slots are filling out fast. To prevent any delay, applicants should ensure that all required information, ID photos and valid ID are correct and complete prior to submission of the application. 3. If the application requirements are compliant, the applicant will receive a Payment Assessment Form (PAF). Applicants must pay the examination fee within three (3) working days after the issuance of the PAF. Refer to Section III for the payment options. 4. If the application requirements are non-compliant, the applicant will receive an email from [emailprotected] on the deficiencies. Upon receipt of the applicant's reply and compliance with the requirements, the application will proceed as indicated in Item 3. 5. Immediately after payment, applicants must send a photo or scanned copy of the proof of payment (SEC official receipt (OR)/electronic OR or validated Landbank deposit slip) through the same email thread upon submission of application. Applicants who paid through Landbank must also include in the email the date of payment and the Landbank branch where the transaction was made. 6. Once payment is verified, the applicant will receive an email and Application Receipt confirming the examination schedule. Applicants from nearby provinces are advised to wait for this email before booking their travel. Non-appearance on the day of the examination would mean forfeiture of payment. III. Examination Fee Payment Options The examination fee is PhP1,500.00 per applicant per schedule. Payment is non-refundable and shall be forfeited if not availed on the scheduled examination. Applicants may present the PAF and pay the examination fee through any of the following options: 1. Electronic System for Payment to SEC (eSPAYSEC) Online payment via debit card, credit card or PayMaya wallet. Transaction fees will apply. Access the eSPAYSEC . Watch the instructional video . 2. SEC Headquarters Cashier Location: Ground Floor, The SEC Headquarters, 7907 Makati Avenue, Salcedo Village, Brgy. Bel-Air, Makati Schedule: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday (except holidays) Payment must be in Cash or Manager's Check payable to the Securities and Exchange Commission 3. SEC Office in Pasay Cashier Location: West Wing, Ground Floor, Secretariat Building, PICC Complex Schedule: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday (except holidays) Contact number: 8818-5825 Payment must be in Cash or Manager's Check payable to the Securities and Exchange Commission 4. Any Landbank Branch (Over-the-Counter) The SEC Landbank account details will be sent to applicants, and the validated deposit slip will serve as the proof of payment. No official receipt will be issued by the SEC. Access the Landbank branch locator . Applicants who already have a copy of the SEC account number specific for the examinations are advised to wait for the issuance of PAF before making any transactions with Landbank. A hard copy of the PAF should be presented upon payment. Note: Cashiers in SEC Extension Offices are not accepting examination payments. IV. What to Bring on Examination Day On the day of the examination, examinees should bring the following: 1. One (1) original valid ID card (see List of acceptable Philippine-issued ID cards); 2. One (1) blue or black ballpoint pen; 3. One (1) pencil (any type); 4. One (1) ordinary calculator (scientific/financial/programmable calculators are not allowed); 5. 70% Isopropyl or Ethyl Alcohol for personal use; and 6. Hard copy or electronic copy of: A copy of the requirement indicated in Section I of the SEC Guidelines on the Health and Safety Protocols to be Observed in the Conduct of the SEC Certification Examinations during the COVID-19 Pandemic Certificate of Consent (if e-copy, send to [emailprotected]) Proof of payment Application Receipt Examinees must comply with the SEC Guidelines on the Health and Safety Protocols to be Observed in the Conduct of the SEC Certification Examinations during the COVID-19 Pandemic . The examination slots per session and schedule are subject to change in compliance with applicable public health guidelines, and/or public declaration of work suspension or non-working holiday that may take effect within the period covered. Should any of these arise, the concerned examinees will be notified accordingly for rescheduling of their examination.
