FOR: SETTING ASIDE OF THE ORDER OF REVOCATION OF ITS CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION O R D E R Petitioner ESTRELLA CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP, INC. is a religious corporation registered with the Commission for the purpose of administering its affairs, properties and temporalities. It has its business office address at B2 L1 Reaville Subdivision, San Antonio, San Pedro, Laguna. On September 29, 2003, Petitioner's Certificate of Registration No. 189759 was revoked for non-compliance with the Commission's reportorial requirements, pursuant to the Order of Revocation dated August 20, 2003 which was published in the Philippine Daily Inquirer on August 28, 2003. Petitioner now prays for the lifting of said Order of Revocation based on the following grounds: 1. [it] is still actually existing and operational; 2. it needs a certificate of registration with the Commission to carry out its objectives, function and activities; [and] 3. [i]t is operational and intends to continue its operation under the registered name. In support of its Petition, Petitioner submitted its 2007 General Information Sheet and 2006 Financial Statements. As proof of its continued operation, Petitioner also submitted the following documents: a) Minutes of the Special Meeting of the members and board of trustees of Petitioner on June 30, 2007; and b) Various official receipts issued by petitioner to different individuals. Petitioner further alleges that it has no intention to violate the law and henceforth, commits to comply with the rules and regulations of the Commission regarding the submission of reports. It has also actually paid in full the penalty in the total amount of Fifteen Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Pesos (P15,750.00) as assessed by the Law and Regulation Division of the Company Registration and Monitoring Department and evidenced by Official Receipt Number 0125041 dated December 17, 2007. WHEREFORE, premises considered, the Order of the Commission dated August 20, 2003 revoking the Certificate of Registration of Estrella Christian Fellowship, Inc. is hereby SET ASIDE. Let a copy of this Order be furnished the Company Registration and Monitoring Department (CRMD), Law and Regulation Division, and the Economic Research and Information Department (ERID) of this Commission for their appropriate action.
