FOR: LIFTING OF ORDER OF REVOCATION O R D E R Petitioner is a non-stock corporation registered with the Commission on 28 August 1984 as a religious organization. On 11 August 2003, petitioner's Certificate of Registration No. 122244 was revoked for non-compliance with the Commission's reportorial requirements, pursuant to the Order of Revocation dated 8 July 2003 which was published in a newspaper of general circulation on 11 July 2003. Petitioner now prays for the lifting of the said Order of Revocation based on the following grounds: 1. it has pending as well as ongoing transactions; 2. assets have been acquired in its name; and 3. it is of good standing except for its inadvertence in failing to submit the reportorial requirements. aTADcH In support of its Petition, petitioner submitted as proof of its continued operation: 1. 2006 Income Tax Return; and 2. Certification dated 27 June 2007 issued by the Municipal Mayor of Numancia, Aklan stating that petitioner has been active and effective in performing its noble functions in the community as a religious institution, accordingly giving justice to the very essence of its establishment. ITESAc Petitioner alleges that it intends to continue its operations as evidenced by its submission of its most recent General Information Sheet and Financial Statements. It further alleges that it has no intention to violate the law and henceforth, commits to comply with the rules and regulations of the Commission regarding the submission of reports. It has also paid in full the total amount of penalty of Twenty-Nine Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Pesos (Php29,550.00) as assessed by this Commission's Iloilo Extension Office (SEC-IEO) and evidenced by Official Receipt No. 5494148. WHEREFORE, premises considered, the Order of the Commission dated 8 July 2003 revoking the Certificate of Registration of AKLAN BAPTIST CHURCH PHILIPPINES (FUNDAMENTAL) FELLOWSHIP, INC. is hereby SET ASIDE. Let a copy of this Order be furnished the Company Registration and Monitoring Department (CRMD), the Economic Research and Information Department (ERID) and SEC-IEO of this Commission for their appropriate action.
