SEC REGISTRATION NO. 0000181208 RE : Setting Aside Order of Revocation of Certificate of Registration O R D E R Petitioner, SAN SIMON NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION INC. (formerly Samahang Lakas ng Kababaihan ng Cabezas Compound Inc.), is a non-stock corporation registered with the Commission on September 10, 1990 under SEC Registration No. 0000181208, with principal office address at San Simon Site I, 568 Int. Cupang, Muntinlupa City. ISHCcT Its Certificate of Registration was revoked on September 29, 2003 by virtue of SEC Order dated August 20, 2003 published on August 28, 2003 in the Philippine Daily Inquirer for non-filing of reports. Petitioner seeks reconsideration of the Order dated August 20, 2003 on the following grounds: 1. that the members of the Petitioner will not participate actively and it will have difficulties in coordinating with different agencies and other non-government organization if the Revocation Order is not set aside; 2. that Petitioner has no intention to violate the law and the Commission's rules and regulations; and 3. that it shall submit reportorial requirements religiously. In support of its Petition, Petitioner submitted the following documents: 1 1. Trustees' Certificate dated August 28, 2008, certifying that at the regular joint meeting of the members and trustees, held on July 29, 2008, at 568 San Simon Site I Cupang, Muntinlupa, at which a quorum was present, the Resolution allowing the filing of Petition to Set Aside Order of Revocation was approved; 2. Secretary's Certificate dated August 28, 2008, certifying that at the meeting of the Trustees held on July 15, 2008, at 568 San Simon Site I, Cupang, Muntinlupa, majority of the trustees approved the Resolution in filing the Petition; 3. Copy of Income Tax Return received on August 15, 2008, Bureau of Internal Revenue; 4. Photographs of activities and programs of Petitioner from September 2007 to March 2008; 5. Photocopy of Kapasyahan Panlungsod Bilang 07-389 dated March 08, 2007 on the accreditation of Petitioner as an active partner of the Local Government, signed by the member of Sangguniang Panlungsod, Muntinlupa City; and aSTECI 6. Copies of Receipts issued by Petitioner to its members on various dates in 2004. Petitioner submitted its 2008 General Information Sheet and 2007 Financial Statements to prove its intention to continue its registration with the Commission. It also manifested that it has no intention to violate the law and that it commits to immediately pay the fine as due. On October 13, 2008, the Petitioner paid the fines of PhP12,000.00 under O.R. No. 0220138, for non/late filing of the following on the years indicated hereunder: REQUIREMENTS NOT FILED FILED LATE General Information Sheet 1996-2007 2008 Financial Statements 1996-2006 2007 WHEREFORE, finding the Petition meritorious, the Order of the Commission dated August 20, 2003, revoking the Certificate of Registration of SAN SIMON NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION INC., is hereby SET ASIDE. Further, Petitioner is hereby directed to submit its 2008 Mayor's Permit within thirty (30) days from date of receipt hereof.
