SETTING ASIDE OF THE ORDER OF REVOCATION O R D E R Petitioner Confradia Sagrada Familia, Inc. is a non-stock corporation registered with the Commission on September 28, 1995 1 for the purpose of inculcating and propagating the virtues and values of the Holy Family among the people of Kawit, Cavite. 2 The principal office of petitioner is located at the Catholic Church of Kawit, Province of Cavite. IcTEAD On November 3, 2003 Petitioner's Certificate of Registration No. AN095-03661 was revoked by virtue of SEC Order dated September 30, 2003 for non-compliance with the Commission's reportorial requirements. Said order was published in a newspaper of general circulation on October 4, 2003. Petitioner now prays for the setting aside of the said order of revocation based on the ground that it is in actual operation and continuously carries out its primary purpose. Petitioner needs a valid Certificate of Registration with the Commission for its legal existence in order to carry out its objectives, functions and activities. As proof of its continued operation, petitioner submitted the following: a) Minutes of the special meeting of the Board of Trustees held at Kawit, Cavite on December 7, 2006 at 9:00 am and 10:00 am; b) Certificate of Accreditation issued by the Municipality of Kawit, Cavite; c) 2006 Audited Financial Statements; and d) 2006 General Information Sheet. Petitioner further alleges that it has no intention to violate the law and henceforth, commits to comply with the rules and regulations of the Commission regarding the submission of reports. It has also paid in full the penalty in the total amount of Ten Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P10,500.00) as evidenced by Official Receipt No. 0111527 dated October 31, 2007 . WHEREFORE, finding the petition meritorious, the Order of the Commission dated September 30, 2003 revoking the Certificate of Registration of CONFRADIA SAGRADA FAMILIA, INC. is hereby SET ASIDE. Let a copy of this Order be furnished the Company Registration and Monitoring Department and the Economic Research and Information Department of this Commission for their appropriate action.
