RE: SETTING ASIDE ORDER OF REVOCATION OF CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION O R D E R Petitioner, BICOL BRIGADE F. SANDICO UNIT VETERANS FEDERATION, INC., is a non-stock corporation registered with the Commission on July 07, 1997 under SEC Registration No. A1997-9745, with principal office at 2964 V. Mapa St., corner Magsaysay Blvd., Sta. Mesa, Manila, established for the purpose of providing assistance to the less privileged sector of the society as well as its members, as stated in its Articles of Incorporation. DcaECT On March 15, 2004, its Certificate of Registration was revoked by virtue of SEC Order dated February 10, 2004 which was published on February 14, 2004 in the Philippine Daily Inquirer for non-filing of reports. Petitioner now prays for the setting aside of the Order of Revocation dated February 10, 2004, on the following grounds: 1. that it has no intention to violate the law and the SEC rules and regulations only that most of the officers passed away and those remaining are already in their advanced age which limits their capabilities to attend annual meetings and to comply with the requirements of different government agencies; and 2. that the trustees and officers intend to continue its operations. In support of its Petition, Petitioner submitted the following documents: 1 1. Photocopy of 2008 Business Permit, Office of the Mayor, City of Manila; 2. Photocopy of Certification dated July 08, 2008, certifying that the Petitioner has its office address within the Barangay 594, signed by the Punong Barangay, Barangay 594, Zone 59, District VI, Sta. Mesa, Manila; 3. Copy of Income Tax Payment Form for the year 2007 received on June 19, 2008 at the Landbank, Anda Circle Branch; 4. Photocopy of Certificate of Registration No. 1RC0000318813 dated June 18, 2008 signed by the Revenue District Officer, Revenue Region No. 006, Revenue District No. 032, Bureau of Internal Revenue; 5. Trustees' Certificate dated May 31, 2008, certifying that at the regular joint meeting of members and trustees held on the same date, at 2964 V. Mapa Sta. Mesa, Manila, at which quorum was present, the resolution allowing the filing of Petition to Set Aside Order of Revocation was unanimously approved; 6. Photocopy of Resolution No. 2008-02 dated May 30, 2008 and Minutes of the Meeting approving the changes on the original composition of Petitioner's Board of Trustees signed by Petitioner's President and Secretary; and IcTaAH Petitioner submitted its 2008 General Information Sheet and 2007 Financial Statements to prove its intention to continue its registration with the Commission. It also manifested that it has no intention to violate the law and that it commits to immediately pay the fines due. On August 01, 2008, the Petitioner paid the fine of PhP10,000.00, under O.R. No. 0192954, for non/late filing of the following, on the years indicated hereunder: REQUIREMENTS NOT FILED FILED LATE General Information Sheet 1998-2006 2007 Financial Statements 1998-2006 2007 WHEREFORE, finding the submitted documents sufficient to establish Petitioner's intent to continue as a going concern entity, the Order of the Commission dated February 10, 2004, revoking the Certificate of Registration of BICOL BRIGADE F.
