October 26, 2023 ENFORCEMENT AND INVESTOR PROTECTION DEPARTMENT SEC ADVISORY This is to inform the public that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has not authorized the creation of the following social media accounts, and their use of the Commission's logo: Social Media Account URL/Social Media Handle Facebook Securities and Exchange Commission Philippines (Personal Account) https://www.facebook.com/sec.philippine Tiktok SEC Philippines @sec_philipines The following are the ONLY social media pages or accounts that the Commission recognizes and maintains as of the date of this Advisory: Social Media Platform Account URL/Social Media Handle Facebook Securities and Exchange Commission Philippines facebook.com/PhilippineSEC Twitter (now X) @SEC_Philippines twitter.com/SEC_Philippines Instagram @secphilippines instagram.com/secphilippines Tiktok @SEC_Philippines tiktok.com/@SEC_Philippines YouTube @SECPhilippinesOfficial youtube.com/SECPhilippinesOfficial In view thereof, the public is advised to exercise caution in dealing with any individual or group of persons who use the official SEC Logo in its social media accounts. The public is further advised NOT TO TRANSACT in any activities or services being offered by aforesaid entities/individuals and to avoid clicking on any links provided by said fake accounts. We further advise the public to TRANSACT or COMMUNICATE concerns about SEC matters, only through the Commission's official social media accounts, other online platforms and contact details which are posted on the Commission's website at www.sec.gov.ph .
