Further, among its promoters are MAHA CORTEZ a.k.a. HANI CORTEZ TOLENTINO and ELSIE MENDOZA HERNANDEZ . Per records, GENIUS TRADING CORPORATION/GENIUS TRADING/GC8 is not registered with the Commission as a corporation of partnership. Further, GENIUS TRADING CORPORATION , allegedly registered with the Department of Trade Industry (DTI) is not authorized to use the word "Corporation," "Incorporation," "Corp." and "Inc." in its business name registration and neither can it be allowed to solicit investments from the public as it did not secure prior registration and/or license to solicit investments from the Commission as prescribed under Section 8 of the Securities Regulation Code. The public is hereby warned that such investment schemes are considered as securities subject to the regulatory authority of this Commission. The offering and selling of securities to the public without a permit or license is a violation of Section 8.1. of the Securities Regulation Code.
