April 22, 2021 ENFORCEMENT AND INVESTOR PROTECTION DEPARTMENT SEC ADVISORY Based on the information gathered by the Commission, a number of individuals or group of persons claiming to represent Big Dreams International and BDI Product Trading OPC headed by their CEO and President ANTHONY OLAMIT BERSALUNA , are enticing the public to invest their money in said entity. Based on the information received by this Commission, Big Dreams International and BDI Product Trading OPC entices the public to invest online or through the internet by being its member with initial membership fee/initial investment of Php7,500.00 with a guaranteed monthly return of P1,500 for 18 months (20% monthly ROI or 360% in 18 months) straight plus a circular magnetic necklace. Furthermore, full-fledged members are given option to invest in Forex Trading with the following options for returns: Initial Membership fee/initial investment: Php7,500.00 Return Lock-in Period 3 months 35 days 1 week 15 days 4x or 400% 30,000.00 3x or 300% 22,500.00 2x or 200% 15,000.00 30% 2,250.00 Accordingly, a member shall only need to invest, wait and earn without having to do anything. As the above described schemes involved the sale of securities to the public, the Securities Regulation Code (SRC) requires that these securities are duly registered and that the concerned corporation and/or its agents have appropriate registration and/or license to sell such securities to the public pursuant to Sections 8 and 28 of the SRC. The records of the Commission show that Big Dreams International is not registered with the Commission either as a corporation nor as a partnership. Consequently, it is NOT AUTHORIZED to solicit investments from the public since it has not secured prior registration and/or license from the Commission as prescribed under Sections 8 and 28 of the Securities Regulation Code. That while BDI Product Trading OPC is registered with this Commission as a one person corporation, however, it is to be noted that its Certificate of Registration explicitly highlighted that: " This Certificate DOES NOT AUTHORIZE INVESTMENT SOLICITATION AND INVESTMENT-TAKING WITHOUT A SECONDARY LICENSE FROM THIS COMMISSION ." Hence, those who act as salesmen, brokers, dealers or agents or claim to act as such for Big Dreams International and BDI Product Trading such as ANTHONY O. BERSALUNA, MARILO COTO, JUDITH B. TAGHOY, NESIAS A. BERSALUNA and JAMIE BAGAIPO in selling or convincing people to invest in the investment scheme being offered by said entity including solicitations and recruitment through the internet may be prosecuted and held criminally liable under Section 28 of the SRC and penalized with a maximum fine of Five Million pesos (P5,000,000.00) or penalty of Twenty-one (21) years of imprisonment or both pursuant to Section 73 of the SRC. Also, those who invite or recruit others to join or invest in such venture or offer investment contracts or securities to the public may incur criminal liability, or otherwise be sanctioned or penalized accordingly as held by the Supreme Court in the case of Securities and Exchange Commission vs. Oudine Santos (G.R. No. 195542, 19 March 2014). The public is advised NOT TO INVEST or STOP INVESTING in any investment scheme being offered by any individual or group of persons allegedly for or on behalf of Big Dreams International and BDI Product Trading OPC and to exercise caution in dealing with any individuals or group of persons soliciting investments for and on behalf of it.
