December 29, 2023 CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND FINANCE DEPARTMENT TO : Publicly-Listed Companies (PLCs) SUBJECT : Implementation of the Revised Sustainability Reporting Guidelines and Sustainability Report (SuRe) Form NOTICE Relative to the Notice dated 04 October 2023 with subject "Request for Comments on the Draft Memorandum Circular on the Revised Sustainability Reporting Guidelines for Publicly Listed Companies (PLCs) and the SEC Sustainability Reporting Form (SuRe Form)," the Securities and Exchange Commission received numerous requests to defer implementation of the Revised Sustainability Reporting Guidelines and the SuRe Form. HTcADC After careful consideration of the valuable feedback received, and in the interest of ensuring and maintaining meaningful compliance by PLCs, please be informed that the Revised Sustainability Reporting Guidelines for PLCs and the SuRe Form is scheduled for release in the year 2024, subject to the issuance of the corresponding Memorandum Circular(s) on the matter. In keeping with developments on the globally recognized reporting frameworks, the Commission is looking at making compliance applicable to data covering the year 2024, with reporting due the following year or on 2025. For the Sustainability Reports covering the year 2023 or those due in 2024, PLCs are advised to maintain compliance with the provisions of SEC Memorandum Circular No. 4, series of 2019, or the "Sustainability Reporting Guidelines for Publicly-Listed Companies."
