2019 CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND FINANCE DEPARTMENT NOTICE The Commission will be conducting Public Seminars regarding the compliance of Financing Companies (FCs) and Lending Companies (LCs) in complying with the following regulations: - REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3765, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE "TRUTH IN LENDING ACT" - PROHIBITION ON UNFAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES (SEC Memorandum Circular No. 18, Series of 2019) - DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS ON ADVERTISING OF FINANCING AND LENDING COMPANIES AND REPORTING OF ONLINE LENDING PLATFORMS (SEC Memorandum Circular No. 19, Series of 2019) Details of the public seminar to be conducted are as follow: DATE: 25-26 November 2019 TIME: 25 November 2019 9:00 a.m.-12.00 p.m. (morning session for FCs) 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. (afternoon session for LCs) 26 November 2019 9:00 a.m.-12.00 p.m. (morning session for FCs and LCs) VENUE: SEC Executive Lounge SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION Third Floor, Secretariat Bldg., PICC Complex Vicente Sotto St., Pasay City The Commission can accommodate up to 30 participants per session on a first come first served basis .
