June 28, 2007 SEC-CFD ORDER NO. 114-07 IN THE MATTER OF THE OPTIMA BALANCE FUND, INC. , registrant. ORDER Upon consideration of the Registration Statement and application to act as an investment company together with the other papers and documents attached thereto filed for and on behalf of OPTIMA BALANCE FUND, INC., the Commission, in its meeting of June 20, 2007, resolved to approve the application of said corporation to act as an investment company under the Investment Company Act and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and to render effective its Registration Statement covering its Two Hundred Million (200,000,000) common shares in accordance with the Securities Regulation Code and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. A Certificate of Permit to Offer Securities for Sale authorizing the sale of said securities is issued with this Order. Let a copy of this ORDER be published at the expense of the corporation once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in two (2) newspapers of general circulation in the Philippines within ten (10) days from the date of this ORDER. The subject company is hereby directed to furnish the Commission with a copy of the affidavit of publication of this ORDER. SO ORDERED.
