September 29, 2008 SEC-CFD ORDER NO. 110-08 IN THE MATTER OF JARDINE EQUITABLE FINANCE CORPORATION VIOLATION OF THE CORPORATION CODE OF THE PHILIPPINES ORDER ON PAYMENT OF PENALTY The records on file with this Commission show that JARDINE EQUITABLE FINANCE CORPORATION failed to file its 2007 and 2008 General Information Sheets within the period prescribed by Section 26 of the Corporation Code of the Philippines. As a result, the company was ordered to pay a fine of Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.00) which it paid on September 23, 2008 as shown by Official Receipt No. 0212562. The company is admonished to take all appropriate measures to ensure its faithful and timely compliance with the said law. Any further violation shall subject the company and/or its responsible officers to heavier penalties in accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 6, Series of 2005 Consolidated Scale of Fines.
