August 29, 2008 SEC-CFD ORDER NO. 092-08 IN THE MATTER OF EAST ASIA POWER RESOURCES CORPORATION ORDER ON PAYMENT OF PENALTY The records on file with this Commission show that EAST ASIA POWER RESOURCES CORPORATION belatedly filed its Certification on the extent of its compliance with its Manual on Corporate Governance for the year 2007, in violation of Section 54 of the Securities Regulation Code. As a result, the company was ordered to pay a fine of One Hundred Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P111,500.00) which it paid on August 22, 2008 as shown by Official Receipt Number 0201636 dated August 22, 2008. The company is admonished to take all appropriate measures to ensure its faithful and timely compliance with Securities Regulation Code. Any further violation shall subject the company and/or its responsible officers to heavier penalties as may be provided by law. SO ORDERED.
